The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.
Office Information: Program name: healthy kids. Program Description: Program provides low cost health insurance for most children that don't qualify for Medi-Cal or Healthy Families. Coverage includes well-child visits, immunizations, prenatal/postnatal care, prescriptions, doctors office visits, hospital care, emergency ambulance, dental care and vision exams plus frames and lenses. Target populations:children, infants/toddlers, low income, pregnant women, youth, newborns. Agency Hours:Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Eligibility:Resident of Riverside County for 90 days, Children 0 thru 18 years of age. Fees:$5.00 to $20.00 application fee depending on doctor selected, covers all children in the family for one year. Free or $5.00 co-payment on some medical services. Free or $5.00 to $15.00 co-payment on some dental care services. Languages:spanish.
