To qualify for Indiana WIC benefits, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    Be a resident of Indiana
    Pregnant Women
Breastfeeding Women (up to the baby's 1st birthday)
Non-Breastfeeding Postpartum Women (up to 6 months)
Infants (up to their 1st birthday)
Children (up to their 5th birthday)
Applicants
must be "at nutritional risk," determined through a health and dietary
assessment by a health professional at the time of certification.
Additionally, they must be "income" eligible, with families receiving
Medicaid, Food Stamps, and TANF qualifying for the Indiana WIC Program.
WIC
services include providing participants with monthly checks for
purchasing specific nutritious foods at grocery stores. The food
packages are tailored to participants' nutritional needs.
WIC
encourages breastfeeding, considering it the most nutritious way to feed
babies. Fully breastfeeding mothers receive an expanded food package
that includes canned light tuna, pink salmon, or sardines. Infants who
are not breastfed receive iron-fortified formula, and starting at six
months, they also receive infant cereal and jars of baby food fruits and
 vegetables.
The Indiana WIC Program collaborates with approximately 150 non-profit clinics across all 92 counties to offer services.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.
