WIC provides more than just healthy food; it offers a caring community and comprehensive support for families with young children.

Whether you're expecting, breastfeeding, or raising a child under 5, WIC can help you and your family thrive.

WIC Services:
Nutritious food packages: WIC provides vouchers for a variety of healthy foods, including fruits, vegetables, milk, cereal, eggs, and more.
Expert nutrition education: Learn about healthy eating habits for yourself and your children, including tips for picky eaters and budget-friendly meals.
Breastfeeding support: WIC counselors offer expert advice and encouragement to help you breastfeed successfully.
Connection to local resources: WIC can connect you with other important services, such as healthcare, immunizations, childcare, and support groups.

Eligibility:
    Pregnant women expecting a baby
New mothers up to six months postpartum
Breastfeeding mothers providing milk to a WIC-enrolled child up to one year old
    Children under 5 years old

Eligibility also depends on your income:
Families with income up to 185% of the federal poverty level qualify.
Those enrolled in foster care, kinship care, or Food Share are automatically eligible.
Many families receiving Medicaid/Badger Care Plus also qualify.

Who can apply for WIC?
Mothers, fathers, guardians, and foster parents of eligible children can apply.

If you think you or your family might benefit from WIC, contact your local WIC clinic or visit the WIC website for more information and an eligibility pre-screening tool.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.
