The WIC Supplemental Nutrition Program fulfills the Community Action mission by providing nutritious foods and nutrition education to help low-income households provide healthy foods for pregnant, breastfeeding women, babies and small children. Children start school with improved ability to learn. Women learn how to provide healthy foods for their families. WIC also provides referrals to other helpful services. WIC empowers families to become self-sufficient by assisting them at a crucial time in their lives.

Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. The WIC staff at the WIC office off base was extremely rude when asking about a incorrect information given about farmers market vouchers. I wanted to leave the comment on the 1791 NE 1st Ave Oak Harbor, WA - 98277 WIC site but the link on the other site brings you to a WIC site 127 NE Camano Dr Camano Island, WA - 98282
