Office Information:

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Adelante Healthcare provides supplemental foods, health care referrals and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women.

WIC Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Closed Saturday & Sunday

Eligibility:
Pregnant
Have delivered a child within the last six months
Breastfeeding a child within the last year
Infants and children under the age of five, including foster children
Income Eligible

Requirements:
Proof of income
Proof of address
Identification for everyone enrolling in the program

WIC Services:
Nutrition education
Breastfeeding support
Experts who specialize in nutrition for mothers and their children
EWIC card to buy healthy food
Referrals to health care, immunizations and other community services

Mission Statement: Healthy people, sustained by healthy communities.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.

I am the early childhood instructor at EVIT, Main Campus. I would love to have a representative from WIC come and speak to my students (age 16-23) about WIC: Explain to them how to qualify, how you help women/children and how a background in early childhood could help them work for WIC. If this is an option, please get back with me. Thanks!
