User questions and answers
Help our users find out more about Barrow County Health Department WIC Services. This office is horrible with communication and customer service. If my children didn't need the services, I would never come to this office for anything. They never answer the phone and when they do, they transfer you around a million times until someone finally gives in and helps. When you're in the office they are extremely rude and will ignore you until they are ready to help, I've stood at their window for 15 minutes before while the ladies sat at the desk and refused to look up and acknowledge me. It is absolutely ridiculous.

Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.

Where can I send and email with documents for certification.
I do not have one nice thing to say about this office or the staff running it. The only positive thing I will say is that the actual WIC program is extremely helpful, and I'm glad it is available for my children. That being said, I wish I could go to a different office to obtain these services.
hello i want to know if i can go pick up my babys t tickets milk please
I had my baby in March during Covid. I have not been able to take the class for WIC because they are not holding them. Every month I get a run around about getting my coupons and not having taken the class. Today I went and they told me to go home and wait for a call. I went home and then I got a call telling me I should have waited in the parking lot. I went back and waited for 30 minutes in a hot car with a 6 month old. Finally I went in and they let me wait in the lobby. When I got my coupons they were for formula only for one month and no fruit, vegetables, dairy etc. they said I need to come back on October 10. I can not make an appointment on October 10 because I will not be home. I can’t reach anyone on the phone either. I have anxiety and this has me very anxious and crying. Also great for my child. I need someone to respond to this and answer my questions .
