WIC Texas Eligibility:
If you or your children receive Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF, you automatically meet the income eligibility requirements for WIC. However, even if you do not receive these benefits, you may still be eligible for WIC based on the income guidelines for your household size. For example, for a household of one, the monthly income limit is $2,248, and for a household of six, it's $6,210. Pregnant women can count each unborn baby as an additional household member.
During your WIC appointment, you will meet with a nutrition expert who will help determine your eligibility. This includes measurements, iron level checks, and discussions on health, nutrition, or breastfeeding for each family member applying for WIC.
If you qualify, you’ll receive food benefits tailored to your needs and a WIC card to use at the grocery store, along with nutrition counseling and other support services.
Remember, all WIC services are free for those who are eligible, and fathers of children under the age of 5 are also encouraged to apply and participate in the program.
For more details on applying for WIC, check the Texas WIC website or contact this local WIC office
Required Documents: You will need to bring proof of income, address, and identification for all family members applying for benefits. This can include paycheck stubs, rent receipts, utility bills, and personal identification documents.
The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.

Ok
There is one lady in particular who is rude to other families each time I go to reload my card. She’s wears glasses and is always wearing a bun, much older. She’s been rude to me once and I reciprocated the attitude. This incident was over a document I asked to email, I had everything else printed out. She chunked her pen down into her holder and said we expect you to bring in all paperwork because someone tried emailing us and it didn’t come through. I’m not sure how that’s my problem but my email indeed went through. I also didn’t like that they all were speaking Spanish to each other as if I didn’t and it’s so unprofessional to speak another language to exclude people from rude conversations. I was sitting waiting for my turn on another occasion and they were making fun of a mother who just walked out that didn’t under how WIC worked and thought she could just walk in and apply. I could not believe how ugly they were to her, not to mention she had just given birth, her baby was three weeks old. This clinic needs to atten a professional development that reiterates how to treat new and all mothers, respectfully.
They don't seem to like people

This clinic has a handful of disrespectful employees, especially the older women that always wears a bun and glasses at the front desk. I asked to email a document to them and she chucked her pen down into a cup holder and raised her voice stating “we expect you to bring all of your documents printed because someone else said they would email us their documents and it didn’t come through” I’m not sure why that was my issue, and needless to say my document immediately went through. Your entire front staff should take a professional development on welcoming and treating women and children with care and making the WIC process easier for them.
This is absolutely ridiculous, i am on my last can of formula, i’ve been trying reach them all week and it says voicemail box is full and just hangs up. How do i know when i have to take a class? this is the second time y’all got rid of my benefits, without knowing when i’m supposed to take any classes.
I have tried calling multiple times a day and can never get anyone. I needed to reschedule my appointment which has now already passed so now I’m needing to schedule one.
