WIC Texas Eligibility:
If you or your children receive Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF, you automatically meet the income eligibility requirements for WIC. However, even if you do not receive these benefits, you may still be eligible for WIC based on the income guidelines for your household size. For example, for a household of one, the monthly income limit is $2,248, and for a household of six, it's $6,210. Pregnant women can count each unborn baby as an additional household member.
During your WIC appointment, you will meet with a nutrition expert who will help determine your eligibility. This includes measurements, iron level checks, and discussions on health, nutrition, or breastfeeding for each family member applying for WIC.
If you qualify, you’ll receive food benefits tailored to your needs and a WIC card to use at the grocery store, along with nutrition counseling and other support services.
Remember, all WIC services are free for those who are eligible, and fathers of children under the age of 5 are also encouraged to apply and participate in the program.

The staff is fairly nice, never had issues. BUUTT the card at the grocery store is a whole different opinion. I cannootttt ever get it to work and then when i try and call the office, the line says it is disconnected. this is so frustrating. I even make sure my benefits are available on the card before walking into the store. I get embarrassed when my card will not work at checkout. and im getting no where trying to call the office.
Terrible experience all together. Wasn’t informed about scheduled appointments and I’m currently trying to move out of state and can’t get ahold of the office to transfer I’ve called well over 20 times.
This location sucks. My girlfriend went to this location just to turn in her classes so we can get benefits
