The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. hi I am on pregnancy I need to apply wic food can you let me no what you need id or any other.
I read right here on the Laurens county public health department website that wic has walk in hours. I work at a government funded facility so I have no days off so I took a vacation day 6/28/19 to apply for wic for my youngest 2 daughters and the lady at the front desk was very condescending and kept repeating they don’t have walk in hours and treated my mother and I like we were stupid. I was not able to get any help from them and I cannot take but so many vaca days off. The girl at the front desk was a younger blonde woman.
