Office Information:

They provide free, for those who qualify, nutrition education; food vouchers; breastfeeding support; and referrals for low-income, pregnant women and low-income children under the age of five (5).

They also provide referrals to doctors, dentists, family planning services, the California Department of Social Services, Public Health Nursing and other related resources.

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in California empower families with:

    Pregnant women

    Women who recently gave birth or experienced pregnancy loss

Eligibility:
You may qualify if you receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, or CalFresh benefits.
Working families, military families, migrant families,Foster parents and legal guardians with a child under 5 years old are welcome to apply.

Woman breastfeeding a baby under 1 year of age
Woman who had a baby or was pregnant in the past 6 months
Baby up to his or her first birthday
Child up to his or her fifth birthday

What to bring to your first appointment:
    Everyone enrolling in WIC (including children under 5)
    Identification for yourself and children
    Proof of address (such as a utility bill)
    Proof of income (paycheck stubs, tax return, etc.)

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk.
