The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.

No Immunizations provided at this location. Location Description: Next door to Insurance Depot at Ledbetter and Polk. Five doors down from the Medicaid Office. Southwest Dallas Clinic is a local WIC clinic in TX. To apply for WIC at Southwest Dallas Clinic please call for an appointment and updated hours. Hours in WIC Offices are always subject to change due to issues such as budget cuts.
To be eligible for WIC in Texas, we have listed some of the eligibilities:
1. Be a pregnant woman.
2. Be a breastfeeding woman with a baby who is under 1 year old.
3. Woman who has had a baby within the last six months.
4. You can also be eligible if you are a foster parent, step parent, guardian, or parent of a child who is under the age of 5. As this adult you can apply for WIC for the child.

I have been given the runaround on 3 different occasions trying to get benefits restarted on my foster child, I have never had problems at that office but lately its been hell, I have taken the proper paperwork but the attitudes have been horrible. my baby wont have benefits for may so I am going to give it one more try.
